Taking the first step and never looking back......

About three months ago I decided to change my lifestyle. I went from a sedentary mom who sat around all day plucking away at a computer to becoming a workout junkie.  Here is how is at all began and how it has affected my son.
I had always seen these infomercials for this program P90X and thought wow does that really work? Well after much thought I decided to purchase the program from eBay. Well the program arrived, I was all giddy like a school girl but that's where it stopped. I ended up putting the program back in the box and put it on the shelf. Everyday for a year I would walk by it as it collected dust, and each time saying today it going to be the day, NOT!  Well like I stated earlier, about three months back I woke up and something came over me and I put on some workout clothes and decided to push play.  I was hard, it pushed me to my limits and I wasn't sure I would last the first day. But here's the kicker I did and here I am 77 days later and I'm still pushing play. I have literally become addicted to working out.  I have changed my eating making it much cleaner, cutting out a lot of stuff like processed foods, sugars etc. And I feel like a ROCKSTAR! My body has not been in this good of shape since High School.
Well I know I must be doing something right because my son who is seven looks forward to working out with me.  He counts down the minutes, I cherish this time and know that I am being a positive influence on my son.  He has also begun to make better choices himself when he eats, he's opting for more fruits and veggies and not candy.
I love my son with all my heart, he is my sunshine my omega.  I don't want him to be like every other average American kid sitting in front of the TV, computer or playing video games all day. I am proud of him and for his young age as to the decisions he makes. He prefers to eat veggies not candy, he prefers to workout not play video games, and he loves to read instead of sit in front of the TV. And here I will leave this .....until next time.
